Nicholas is a classically-trained pianist who began his journey on the ivories at age six under the tutelage of Mdm Helen Lee, a South Korean artist and concert pianist who currently resides in the US. After attaining the ABRSM Grade 8 Piano (Distinction), Nic went on to attain the ATCL in piano performance. He has performed solo at The Arts House, lunchtime concerts, and at hotel events including the 53rd Singapore National Day celebrations at Hotel Intercontinental in Adelaide in 2018. For the various healthcare clusters, he has performed in the 2021 Yishun Health Teachers’ Appreciation Day, at a lunchtime concert at the NUHS Tower Block lobby in April 2023, and as a solo pianist during an annual dinner event commemorating the 179th Founder’s Day of Tan Tock Seng Hospital in July 2023. He has most recently been engaged to perform at St. Regis for a wedding banquet.

He maintains his YouTube channel which hosts more than 90 videos of performances of his own piano arrangements and piano pieces of various genres.
